Dear Mayor Reeves:

The City of St. Peters Senior Advisory Committee would like to invite you and your community to participate in the first St. Charles County Senior Fair to be held at St. Peters City Hall on Saturday, October 3, 2009 from 9am-1pm. There are many seniors living in our county who are unaware of city and senior center services available to them. This fair will educate them on programs and opportunities they may be able to take advantage of as a resident’s in our communities.

Your municipality is invited to participate, free of charge, as a vendor at the fair to showcase different programs and services available to area seniors. In addition to vendor booths, the event will also include speakers, health screenings/consultations, flu shots, entertainment and snacks.

If your municipality would like to participate in this event by hosting a booth space, please contact me directly by August 26, 2009 to reserve your space. Also, if you have a city publication where you can publish information about the fair or can post information about the fair on your webpage or at your City Hall, I am attaching a flyer for your convenience.

This fair is intended to be a collaborative effort amongst the municipalities and Senior Advisory Committees in the County in an effort to disseminate valuable information to our senior population.
